PARTICIPATE

The participation process requires agreement with the three political objectives/criteria of the network:

  • Analyse current policies and practices in arts education, in the context of the growing interest in the role of ‘creativity’ and other key assumptions in UNESCO documents;
  • Critically challenge the ongoing hegemony of Westernized and colonial arts education;
  • Propose alternatives and develop new paradigms for practice and research in arts education.

Joining process: To become a member, a letter or introductory message must be submitted, and the three principles of analysis and work of the network must be accepted. It is advisable to contact a member of the coordinating group closest to your area, or if not possible, send an email directly to the network. The Steering Committee will review the letter and the applicant to determine if their admission is appropriate.

Participation models:

  1. Following the website and activities and be egange as active audience
  2. Participation in a specific working or action group;
  3. Leading an initiative in collaboration with other groups or spaces in a Cluster.
