If artistic experience can be something which is awaken in the students?, if that experience can be directed?, can be formed?, if  is something we desire that happens at school?

All of these are questions that I hope not to forget, but now I want to go to the third  field I want to talk about, and it is specifically the field of art. I had already pointed out I think there is a difference between artistic experience as a part of the integral experience of every human being, and the art systems, that legitimate certain type of art works, certain specific cannons, specific artists  and it is necessary to recognize that the way in which art system operates today could not have any relation with the artistic experience.

Because actually the art field is focused in what some sociologist call

singularity regime

in which it seems the main effort of an artist is to build an auto-legitimizer speech, that make him visible in the art field; and all of that has not neccesarily a relation with memory, perception and our own construction such as the elements we associate with the artistic experience.

It is difficult to synthesize  the complete panorama, but I have tried to do it the best, pointing some contests, some questions and issues around we do not pretend to have answers, but we think those can contribute to point out some aspects that must be outstanding, and that sometimes in our discussions are kind of diffuse, making confuse our debate about artistic experience and artistic education today in the pedagogical area.

Mónica Romero

Just to finish I think Miguel has done an important synthesis of the issues we discuss in our group and we thought that is relevant to point out that as we talk about and make our practices in those three fields that Miguel had pinted out;  it is also important to indicate that the different teachers in the research group locate their experience in some of these places, so we work articulating or making questions to ourselves about institutional speetches in the school as well as in art field; and how are they related to our daily practices at school and university,  in order to generate question that make us to resignify the experience.

I propose and additional question: How small stories are legitimated or not? And how they contribute to the revision of our own experience?
