We are happy to announce the publication of “Contradecirse una misma. Museos y mediación educativa crítica” (Contradicting oneself. Museums and critical education), edited by Alejandro Cevallos and Anahí Macaroff, Fundación Museos de la Ciudad de Quito, a spanish language book based on the two volumes of
documenta 12 education
(2009, diaphanes). The publication contains translations of texts on education at documenta 12, additional contributions on museum and gallery learning, and an extended glossary as well as a text by the editors, drawing connections between challenges and practices in Quito and the ones reflected on in the context of documenta.
